HDTV in three rooms in my house, the ability to skip commercials, my music library and pictures, Netflix DVDs, and games. … Anyways if you haven’t already, grab Power Playlist to make your Media Center experience even better. You can get it here….It comes with an editor where you simply type the paths where you want to point Power Playlist to and it takes care of the rest. … The Media Center in the PC in the attic (in addition to doing my music and slide shows) also handles my TV….Watching slideshows with music is one of the top things that I do on my Media Center PC. … Typically I’ll put on my WMP Smart Playlist of my 4&5 star rated songs and then watch photos from either my art shots, my family snapshots, or both combined….Power Playlist lets you add up to 5 music/photo combos from your start screen. It can also handle visualizations….

Talk about multi-tasking! … Saturday was Charlotte & Steves wedding at Homme House in Herefordshire and it was a fantastic day and definitely the most rock & roll wedding Ive covered yet….

Menze gets the symphony under his direction to respond to his direction and he conducts a performance as sweeping as Beethovens sonic portrait of Napoleon. With its ups and downs he f

Sinkane When does inspiration come to you? Are you listening? How do you know when you have discovered something? Laying in bed, exhausted after a complex day, you mind pulses and spins with thought as you decompress. Suddenly a phase appears or an image or a sound, you pause but continue to try and sleep. Yet it appears again maybe a little brighter or stronger or more flushed out, and in that moment have to choose whether or not you will get up and preserve this flash or fall asleep obliviou

Last.fm is generally acknowledged to be one of the best web apps of this era - its music recommendation system literally creates a personalized radio station for you. But the now CBS-owned service doesn’t get nearly enough credit for its API. We’ve heard stories about how 90% of Twitter’s use comes from its API. Well, Last.fm also has an API that is used by many external services to add value and enjoyment for end users. In this post we list 10 of our favorites, but there are many more of the

Today was the day . A few of you knew and said you would be thinking of me. Today I used Live search to find more info on ‘game downloads’.. And this is one of the first results I found:
I was watching the Angels/Rays game last night on the computer with MLB. … Seems we only have available to us 375 MB of download in a 24 hour period….Jim says he’ll download that and then we can try estimating if we can safely watch a game….Hope it works because having our download speed throttled is unacceptable. … I’d have to give up the games
On another note….The ball game was in HiDef and took up more bits (421) than the other games I’ve watched. … So the DataStorm User Group has a software download called FAP Monitor to help manage the downloads so one doesn’t get into trouble….

Jump to the full entry & travel map London, United Kingdom This blog has been temporarily seized by “THE PARENTS”; be warned the following words are not Diane’s! Well, as you read that last entry it sure sounded like we didn’t do too much… not quite as bad as “Mom and Dad were here, then left (not soon enough); oh yeah and here’s one picture”… but still it does leave a little to be desired from our viewpoint. We arrived on Friday and were greeted by Elaine and Steven at the airport.
